Installation & Pool Tips

Cover the pool when not in use to reduce heat loss (80% occurs via evaporation).
For above-ground pools, additional insulation around the sides/bottom can retain heat and reduce pump size requirements.
Electrical installation must be done by a qualified electrician; use a separate C or D curve MCB.
Avoid connecting the heat pump to the water pump used for sand filter backwashing.
Ensure correct flow rate; a bypass kit may be needed for above-ground pools.

Positioning

Install outside, on a flat, stable surface.
Use the included isothermal winter cover when not in use.
For above-ground pools, position the heat pump at ground level; no elevation required.
