The Sol+Guard Solar Pool cover has different shaped bubbles which don’t have the weak points the traditional bubble had, making the cover stronger and last up to 25% longer!

More importantly it has the best solar gain properties of any bubble cover on the market – the translucent material allows UV rays allows heat to transfer to the water and help warm the pool water better than any solar bubble cover on the market!

The old design of bubble cover was flawed with weaknesses that over time would fail due to heat, chemical attack and residual heat acting on the thin points of the bubble. This is because it was not originally designed with this application in mind. GeoBubble addressed these issues by design, through uniform thickness and greater room for air expansion. It is the combination of this products unique two ply combination, a clear top surface and a translucent tinted underside that gives the Sol+Guard swimming pool cover the ability to provide a variety of benefits.

Increase pool temperature by up to 8°C through solar energy gain – Tests carried out in collaboration with two UK Universities, showed that the more translucent a cover is the greater the penetration of solar energy into the swimming pool water. The unique Sol+Guard cover harnesses this concept allowing maximum solar gain to pass through the material resulting in the increase in pool temperature by up to 8°C.

Eliminate Water Evaporation by 98% + – Water consumption, charges, and the use of a natural resource can reduce your by eliminating water evaporation by over 98%. Research carried out in collaboration with two UK Universities showed that in the UK an average sized pool of 4 x 8m the evaporation loss is approximately 32,000 litres of water per year.
