Installation Guide

1. Manually screw on the top connection using PTFE tape.
2. Glue the bottom connection with ABS adhesive, ensuring alignment with bulkheads.
3. Connect inlets:
   • “Pump”: Water from the pump
   • “Return”: Return to pool
   • “Waste”: To drain
4. Connect bulkhead flow:
   • “Top”: To filter
   • “Bottom”: Return from filter

Detailed Installation Steps

1. Place the flat rubber seal in the valve port marked TOP. Screw the union into the valve port through the coupling. Tighten firmly for a watertight seal.
2. Fit the selector valve to the upper filter outlet, ensuring the O-ring is in place.
3. Fit the elbow with the coupling and O-ring (do not use adhesive yet).
4. Tighten couplings gently. Clean jointing area, apply ABS adhesive, reassemble, and allow to dry for at least 2 hours before use.

Note: It’s advisable to loosen other union connections to ease installation. Avoid excess adhesive to prevent damage to the valve interior.

Maintenance

Rinsing Procedure

After each backwash operation, perform rinsing before returning to the filtration cycle (Pump-Valve-Filter-Drainage).

Valve Disassembly for Maintenance

1. Stop the pump and close off suction valves.
2. Place lever between “Rinse” and “Filter” positions.
3. Open drain valve and release purge screw to empty the valve.
4. Remove the top section.
5. Perform maintenance:
   • Check and clean the lid O-Ring, replacing if necessary.
   • Lubricate O-Ring with soapy water and place inside the valve top.
   • Replace any damaged elements.
6. Realign and replace the top section.
7. Close the valve using nuts and bolts.

Important: If the operating handle is removed, it must be realigned with the axle triangle.
